Lord, I Don’t Know What to Do .......... Leah DiPascal

“Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow.” Psalm 25:4 (NLT)

Do you ever feel like you’re going in circles and not making any progress? At least not the kind of progress you were expecting.

Are the constant appeals of our world pulling you in a million different ways, causing you to question if you’re headed in the right direction?

If you’re like me, you have plans and dreams you want to fulfill.

But life is confusing at times. And most days it seems like you’re just surviving instead of living out those dreams or accomplishing your goals.

Numerous distractions.
Too many choices.
Endless interruptions.

There have been days I’ve felt like one foot was fixed to the floor, while my other foot scurried in every direction. Expending a lot of energy and mental fatigue, but going nowhere. Can you relate?

Wouldn’t it be awesome to wake up every morning and be assured you’re on the right path towards your goals? To know with certainty that you’re headed in the right direction? To feel confident with each step, without constantly questioning yourself?

Too many times I’ve second-guessed a decision I was confident about. I want so desperately to follow God’s will that I’ll pray, but then feel uncertain, not wanting to make a wrong move. I wonder: Maybe this isn’t what I’m supposed to be doing. Maybe this isn’t part of God’s plan for my life.

As I’ve wrestled with indecision and insecurity, I’ve sought God’s Word for help. A few months ago, I found a priceless nugget of truth in the Bible. It addresses our desire for guidance and shows us what to do when we need clear direction.

King David composed these words in a beautiful psalm, tucked within the pages of the Old Testament:

“Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you” (Psalm 25:4-5).

These verses reveal David’s humble and teachable heart. He wanted to be guided by God and led by His truth. David knew God was his Savior and placed all his hope in the One who created the right path for him.

We find the answers to David’s request for guidance only a few short passages away. Promises we can claim for our own lives:

“The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands” (Psalm 25:8-10, NLT).

Based on these verses, when our hearts are humble and truly seeking God’s will, we can be confident of this:

1. God will always show us what is right for us.
2. When we get sidetracked, God will direct us back to the right path.
3. We are not alone. God leads and teaches us along the way.
4. God leads those who obey Him with unfailing love and faithfulness.

If you’re unsure about some things in your life, don’t wait another day to figure it out on your own. Ensure your heart is in the right place of humility, and then ask God to help you.

Once you’ve asked, trust that God is directing you.

If you know you’ve gotten on the wrong path, seek God for direction instead of looking to the world for answers. As you take steps to follow and obey God’s voice, He will lovingly show you the way.

Months ago I asked the Lord to etch these verses onto my heart and mind, so I’d always have them with me — especially on days when I feel like I’m going in circles and lacking direction.

Today, I’m praying these verses over you.

Dear Lord, help my friend come to You when she’s in need of direction. Remind her that the world can’t offer what she deeply longs for, nor does it hold her future, but You certainly do. Thank You for guiding her today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

TRUTH FOR TODAY:
Psalm 32:8, “The LORD says, ‘I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.'” (NLT)

Psalm 90:17, “Let the favor of the LORD our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” (ESV)

God the Reason!

".....You are the reason, for the Life I Live, for the air I breathe, for the Song I sing......" Chris Shalom

Hello, Good Morning! It is indeed another Marvelous Monday!
Today, I’m just here to Praise and Worship my Awesome God. The King of Kings and the Lord if Lords! The Holy one of Israel. The one who has got my back always! Beeni! Oba awon Oba, atofarati bi oke!

“How do you do it”? I have been asked severally. “You don’t seem to have a care in the world"! "You are always smiling DD" (as I’m fondly called by some), “You have no stress at all”. Hmmm! little do they know!

Yes! I do have issues oh, more than you can ever imagine. I aint super human folks. Lol.

However, I find that focusing on the Almighty God, choosing to be happy every moment, staying positive minded, focusing on the good I want to see, regardless of my current matter, and most especially praising through my circumstances is sure to bring a speedy turn around for good.

It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, and it’s a new week.

Yes, there are challenges, but then regardless, join me in praising through, and see a turnaround for good for that niggling matter.

Trust me, I am a daily witness.

Stay encompassed in God’s Love. Shalom J

You are the reason, for the Life I Live, for the air I breathe, for the Song I sing, You are the reason, Why I lift my Voice, Why I lift my hands, It’s all because of YouO Sweet JesusBeautiful LordThank you always and forever

Winning Battles with our Praise

Give Thanks to the Lord, for HIS love endures forever. 2 Chronicles 20:21 NIV

Yay! My first post from a super duper woman @Lisa Bevere! Enjoy dearies. :)
News flash: you don’t have to be a worship leader to worship, and you do not have to be a singer to sing. You only have to be a child of God, which is a good thing, because there are many battles we win in song!
There is such power in praise. I believe that when we sing God’s Word, we make the enemy shake and tremble with fear. As we wield words of adoration and gratitude—often spoken as songs—heaven is accessed, and an audience in the courts of our Father is granted. The combination of musical instruments and song has the power to alter the very environment that surrounds us.
When we sing, God is magnified. His dominion is declared over our situation. So when we choose to praise Him in the midst of battles unseen, He fights for us. There was a time when the choir of Judah defeated three impossibly large armies that had assembled to destroy them. As God’s holy people shouted and praised their invincible God, He threw the enemy armies into confusion and caused them to slaughter one another. And what was their strategic battle cry?
Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever.
2 Chronicles 20:21 NIV
What army can stand against the power of enduring love? Not one, because love cannot fail.
Another one of my favorite examples of God fighting on our behalf in the midst of a battle is told in Isaiah:
And you will sing as on the night you celebrate a holy festival; your hearts will rejoice as when people playing pipes go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.
The Lord will cause people to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.
The voice of the Lord will shatter Assyria; with his rod he will strike them down.
Every stroke the Lord lays on them with his punishing club will be to the music of timbrels and harps, as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.
Isaiah 30:29–32 NIV, emphasis added
Our part in this equation is to open our mouths and sing! But not just any song will do. We are to sing in unified joy with all our strength and might as God routs the enemy.
As you open the gates of your heart through intentional gratitude and thankfulness for what God has done, you come in contact with all that He is. Our songs in the night move Him into our day, and the enemy’s progress is arrested as we are brought into God’s presence. What a magnificent thought!
I challenge you this week to ask God where you can step out on the battlefield with your worship. Let’s sing our battle cry in praise!

"DEFINE and ALIGN" A Sista Power Gathering in Abuja

...."....Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight;......" Leviticus 26:8 (NKJV)

Hello dearies! Its a glorious beautiful morning! Indeed our God is Faithful! Hallelujah!

Today, I want to share a little about Ladies gatherings. Yea Yea, I got your attention there, right? Lol!

Often times, when we hear about a Ladies gathering or a women’s meeting, we wonder “what is this about again oh" while rolling our eyes! Lolz. In fact, some ladies just shut down and do not even consider it. “I don’t attend Ladies’ meetings they say, “too much drama”.

“Hmm. What do they want to talk about sef”? They ask with skepticism! hahahaha! Don't worry. You are not alone oh! This reaction is perfectly normal! Yes, it’s been wired into our brains! Albeit with some “evidence” though that our fellow women may be our enemies.

Well, I am here to tell you, that is a deception from the d boss of deception himself! d devil! Because he knows how powerful we are, especially as women, when we collaborate!

The fact is that as women, together we are more! As women, when we come together and commit to a common good, we achieve more! When we offer prayers together, we get more results! Yes! I am witness! I can confirm! I have countless proof!

Over the years, being in the awesome company of real big Sistas like Bidemi –Mark Mordi and Sista Audrey Joe Ezigbo, has been proven over and over again, that when we find that divine connection of women, the sky is our launch pad! Indeed we soar!

The Awesome Privilege of Choice!

..... "..... Therefore choose life ..... loving the Lord your God, obeying HIS voice and holding fast to HIM, for HE is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers..... " (Deuteronomy 30: 26-28)

Hello dearies! Indeed today is a good day! Yes today is an awesome day to be alive!  God be Praised!

I Pray y'all are good and blessed.

I wanna share with you, the awesome privilege of choice that God has Blessed us with. Yes, again I say, the awesome privilege of choice, and it is indeed a blessing. :)

People often ask me, Adeola, you seem to have no issues, no problems, you are always happy! Lol! Well, the true reality is that I do have challenges, I do have times of "it could be better", times of expecting blessings, answers that tarry a bit. Times, when the outcomes are absolutely different from expected, totally unpalatable.

But then, what do I do in those seasons, I CHOOSE!

Rather than be upset, I CHOOSE to be Happy, rather than lose faith, I CHOOSE to Trust and Believe in God's promises to me "that all things work together for my good, for it will get better (Romans 8:28)! Rather than cry over mistakes, I CHOOSE to see it as a lesson learnt and CHOOSE to move on.

Rather than wait, I CHOOSE to make the first move and another and another and another if need be. Rather than get upset with that person, I CHOOSE to make excuses for them and CHOOSE to give LOVE (after all, they are going through their own stuff and probably do not understand yet the awesome privilege of CHOICE that God has given us!) Besides, who is perfect? We are all working to be better everyday.

Most importantly,  rather than give up, I CHOOSE to Live Life Awesomely.

Believe me, it is not always easy. Many times, I am Happy (not! lol!), many times I have been hurt, many times, friends and family say nice (not) things, many times, I don't get my desired outcome(s)

Then I remember, how much God Loves me and mine! I remember also, that HE gave me the awesome privilege of CHOICE! I remember that I create my outcomes with my CHOICES, Then I CHOOSE to forge ahead, yet again, and again, based on my desired outcome!

GOD CHOSE to Love Us, regardless of how faithful (not) we have been, how much more us HIS magnificently crafted beings to our fellow magnificently crafted beings! :)

Life is a journey, an experience of choices we make every second, the earlier we CHOOSE to enjoy this awesome journey of Life, the better the quality. Yes, there will be storms (blessed rain), yes there will be mountains (stepping stones/launching pads to soar), yes there will be mistakes (lessons learnt), but the difference is that we CHOOSE!

So, would you CHOOSE to CHOOSE the awesome privilege of CHOICE that God has blessed us with? Selah.

Enjoy your awesome weekend darlings, and remember, you have the awesome privilege of CHOICE. Shalom.

..... stay encompassed in God's Love. It's the most ecstatic place to be! ..... Shalom!

God's Steadfast Love, Indeed, It Never Ceases!

..... "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness....." Lamentations 3:22-23(KJV)

Hello dearies, how are we today? It is an Awesome Sunday innit?  A Beautiful Day to be alive.

Today, I simply want to remind us of the awesomeness of God's Love. How amazing!

Often times we get so carried away, focused on the seeming challenges we go through. Yet we forget that but for God's awesome Love that preserves and sustains us, we will not even have those challenges to worry about in the first place! Ironic isn't it?

We have the breath of life in our lungs! Our eyes blink open! Food on our table (even if it is one meal, at least we had one) A roof over our heads, a mat (bed) to lay on! The sun on our skin, the wind ruffling through our hair! Water to drink! Friends, Family, Colleagues to relate with. A Husband/Wife to Love (or even bicker, with, lol!) Excited voices of our awesome children (born and soon to be born).

Yes there are issues and bills to take care of, but hey? there is hope for tomorrow! We will get there! In fact, better to Praise through the journey, than be miserable. Indeed Let Every(one)thing that hath breadth Praise the Lord (Psalm 150:6) for ALL things work together for our Good! (Romans 8:28)

How about choosing this week to pause, ponder and count the little blessings in our lives! Rather than complain, why not thank God instead? rather than respond to that person in anger, why not give a smile? rather than complain about that issue, how about thanking  God for solution that will surely come.

Our God is an awesome God, His Love transcends the Heavens and the Earth. Can we simply rest and bask in this knowledge this new week?

Have an awesome blessed and favored week ahead folks, surely, we will have numerous things to bless God for.

..... and remember to keep basking in God's awesome Love ..... It's the most blissful place! Shalom
